Who I am
Hi, I’m Anna
I’m a birth doula, hypnobirthing instructor and lactation consultant based in Sant Cugat del Vallès. I support families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum across the Barcelona area, in English, Spanish and Catalan.
My path as a doula began after my own first birth: intense, life-changing, and followed by a postpartum that challenged me deeply. That’s when I started looking for answers, understanding the physiology of the body, the brain, the confidence I felt we had lost. Three children and many births later, I know that supporting women through this transition isn’t just a profession for me. It’s part of who I am.
I bring together formal doula training, continuous learning and hands-on experience supporting families through very different journeys, always grounded in evidence and in deep listening. When I support someone, I leave labels and judgement at the door. I offer presence, calm and a steady space where doubts, fears and decisions can be shared knowing they will be respected.
This talk is not a medical consultation. It’s an honest conversation about what birth in Catalonia actually looks like, so you can feel oriented and ready when the time comes.
